Motorisation of blinds has increased substantially over the last 10-15 years with Switch control, BMS control, Solar Sensor control, Timer and App control which are just a few examples of systems we can provide.
This helps to reduce the risk of users breakages, keeps their building’s aesthetics uniform with all the blinds aligned and saves money by reducing Air Conditioning costs and Carbon Emissions.
EDUCATION
Fresco work extensively throughout the UK in the Education market providing Linea products which meet the many different client’s requirements.
Blackout blinds for Science Laboratories, Double Height Curtains and Stage Curtains for Main Halls, Daylight Blinds for General Classrooms and Staff Areas, Roof Blinds for Atria and Skylights are just some of the requirements which may be required in one school alone.
All of the above are in our Linea product range and with operational options of Chain, Crank, Spring and Motorised – which can be adapted to suit the individual requirements for Primary Schools, SEN Schools, Secondary Schools, Further and Higher Education institutions.

HEALTH
Main Hospitals, Secure Units, Medical Centres, Dentists and Veterinary Centres are a few examples of the areas we have provided solutions for in the Health sector.
The Health market doesn’t differ too much from other markets in its requirements for blinds and curtains but it does have additional critical performance criteria.
Anti-ligature blinds, curtain tracks and cubicle tracks in the Linea range help to provide the protection and safety that some of the clinical areas require.
BREEAM and WELL are also often considered in the Health sector and Fresco offer fabrics to help achieve these requirements, along with the additional and essential benefit of the fabrics having Anti-MRSA properties to help reduce the risk of cross infection.
